Product description
The Pachira Aquatica, commonly known as the money tree, is a living indoor plant with a striking braided trunk that divides into multiple slender branches at the top. Each branch carries glossy, hand-shaped green leaves that can reach up to 30 cm in length. This plant arrives ready to display, potted in a woven plant basket that complements its exotic, sculptural appearance.
The money tree has a distinct, elegant presence that makes it a recognisable feature in any interior. Its braided trunk and lush canopy give it a refined yet natural character suited to a wide range of professional environments.
Use & position
The Pachira Aquatica works well in offices, reception areas, hotel lobbies, meeting rooms, retail spaces, and healthcare facilities where a natural, calming atmosphere is valued. It is best placed in a spot with bright, indirect light — direct sunlight can damage the leaves, so avoid positioning it directly in front of a south-facing window.
This plant is suitable for indoor use in rooms with sufficient natural daylight. If you are looking for comparable indoor plants in baskets, the Yucca Elephantipes branched indoor plant in plant basket is a similar option worth considering.
Care
The Pachira Aquatica requires moderate watering. Allow the top layer of the soil to dry out completely between waterings before watering again. During summer, watering approximately once a week is a suitable rhythm; in other seasons, water less frequently based on how quickly the soil dries out.
Keep the plant in a well-lit indoor space away from direct sun. No special humidity or temperature notes are required beyond providing a stable indoor environment with adequate daylight.
