Product description

The ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) is a robust evergreen houseplant known for its glossy, dark green, leathery leaves. The oval leaflets grow in an upward spiral along thick, sturdy stems, giving the plant a full and symmetrical appearance. The overall structure is dense and upright, making it a visually reliable choice for professional interiors.

Although the ZZ plant rarely flowers, it may occasionally produce small, inconspicuous blooms at the base of the stems. Its striking foliage is the main decorative feature.

Use & position

The Zamioculcas zamiifolia is well suited to a wide range of indoor settings, including offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, hotel lobbies, healthcare environments, and retail spaces. It tolerates both low-light and brighter indoor positions, making it a practical option for spots away from windows. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can scorch the leaves.

If you are looking for other low-maintenance indoor plants for your workplace or project, the Dracaena Deremensis Rikki indoor plant with basket is a complementary option worth considering.

Care

The ZZ plant requires very little water. Allow the compost to dry out fully between waterings; watering every two to four weeks is typically sufficient, depending on the conditions of the room. Overwatering is the most common mistake to avoid.

The plant adapts well to a range of indoor light levels, from shaded corners to moderately bright spots. Keep it away from direct sunlight to protect the foliage.
