The Strelitzia Nicolai, commonly known as the White Bird of Paradise, is a large-leafed plant with lance-shaped, deep green leaves carried on strong stems. Mature specimens can produce striking white flowers with blue hues, resembling a bird in flight. This plant is supplied with an elho Greenville Round pot in green, 30 cm in diameter. The two available variants range in height from 160 to 170 cm.
The scale and bold leaf structure make the Strelitzia Nicolai well suited to spaces that benefit from a strong, recognisable green presence: hotel lobbies, office atriums, retail environments and care settings. The plant performs best in a bright position away from direct sunlight, which aligns with the typical lighting conditions of many commercial interiors.
Water requirements are moderate: water when the top layer of compost feels dry and avoid waterlogging the roots. Maintenance is therefore limited and predictable. Choose the height based on ceiling clearance and the surrounding layout. Orders can be placed for single units or larger project quantities; each plant is packed in a purpose-built box with a protective sleeve and secured for transit.
