This beautiful, tropical plant is also known as the European dwarf palm. This is the only palm species native to Europe. It grows mainly around the Mediterranean Sea and functions well as both an indoor and an outdoor plant. In fact, this palm can withstand frost well. Chamaerops Humilis originally grows in warmer areas. This makes it resistant to bright sunlight and it prefers a spot in full sun. Water this palm when the soil feels dry.
