About the Areca and Yucca  

This set of two houseplants consists of an Areca Palm and a Yucca. 

The Areca Palm, also known as Gold Palm or Dypsis Lutescens, and the Yucca Elephantipes, also known as palm lily, are exotic houseplants. Originally the Areca palm comes from Southeast Asia. and the Yucca from North and South America. In terms of maintenance, they are easy plants and they will give your interior an extra touch with their great appearance.

All Yucca’s and Areca’s are shipped directly from the nursery to your shipping address. This way you will receive the freshest possible plant in the most sustainable way.

Air purification of the Areca and Yucca

The palm lily and gold palm are not only beautiful but also an addition to your living room for your health. The large house plants are real air purifiers, which greatly improves the air quality in your home!

Caring for the Areca and Yucca 

The Yucca loves to be in the sun. With a place in the sun at a temperature between 15 and 24 degrees, the palm lily will come to life. The Yucca is an easy plant to care for. A glass of water once every 14 days is sufficient. The Areca palm also likes light but prefer to avoid full sun. When the potting soil is dry, it is time to water the houseplant again. The Yucca and Areca palm will also like misting the leaves. This ensures that the leaves remain beautiful and it prevents infestations by insects. Fact: Neither of these green plants are poisonous to humans, however, only the Areca palm is cat-friendly.
